2024 All In Campaign "Faithfully Focused on Christian Education!"
A Message from Mrs. Ferrara, Interim Head of School
Dear Families and Friends of Burlington Christian Academy:
“John,” a current BCA senior, said in Bible class when he was a new freshman, “I don’t know what I think
about all this Jesus stuff.” His freshman attitude was skeptical and cautious. Now a senior, he is growing in
Christ, smiling from ear to ear, and even asked to lead a Preschool chapel. This change in John’s life is not
only a work of the Holy Spirit, but it is a direct result of your generous giving to BCA.
Tuition dollars alone are not enough to sustain our annual budget. Each year BCA must raise a minimum of
$400,000 just to continue our present programs. This amount does not include needed expansion!
I humbly request that you please remember BCA in your end of year giving. In a 2022 study conducted by
Barna Group, only 19% of teens in America identified the Bible as the inspired, infallible word of God. This
means that children and teens like John are growing up in a culture where God's word, the ultimate truth and
authority, is not where they are finding answers to the critical questions: Who am I? What is truth? Who is
God? Why am I here? BCA exists to teach the next generation the answers to these questions from a biblical
worldview while equipping them to use their God-given gifts and abilities to fulfill His plan for their lives.
Your generosity will support the following:
● A part-time athletic trainer to support our student athletes on 34 teams - $25,000
● Increases in teacher health insurance- $80,000
● Adding greatly needed new classrooms for 2025 - $800,000
● Adding a part-time resource teacher to expand and support resource services - $25,000
This program is currently serving 38 students through purposeful math and reading intervention.
Praise God!
● Replacing two air conditioning units in the Thompson Gymnasium - $84,000
● 8th grade capstone trip to historical Pennsylvania- $25,000
● And so much more!
As 2024 draws to a close, we reflect on the Lord’s faithfulness to BCA and its families. Now in year 46, BCA is
a critical Burlington employer of more than 130 servants of Jesus Christ and currently serves 925 students!
Will you please prayerfully consider giving to BCA?
Faithfully,
Laura Ferrara
